* What is the reason behind checking QR-codes and ID’s before every single training and match?

This is due to the fact that someone can obtain a valid QR-code through one of the following means:

  1. (complete) Vaccination;
  2. A negative test result, in which case the QR-code is only valid for 24 hours from the moment of testing;
  3. have obtained a certificate of recovery from a recent corona infection

In short, someone could have obtained a temporary QR-code, which can therefore not be used as  proof of vaccination. As the Board of Sovicos, we will never ask our members whether they are vaccinated or not, but we do need to ask for a valid QR-code. Without a valid QR-code and ID, members will not be able to enter the sports halls.

Additionally, the following rules still apply to everyone:

Steps to take in case of a positive test for you or a family member:

  • Stay at home!
  • Inform the following people:
    • Your team via email & sms/whatsapp
    • Your trainer/coach via email & sms/whatsapp
    • The Board via email at bestuur@sovicos.nl
  • This will allow Sovicos to give the most up-to-date information on who has been in touch with you and where, in case the GGD starts a contact research.

Access to the sports halls:

  • Bring your own bottle. Don’t use someone else’s.
  • Disinfect your hands when entering or leaving the hall, or when using the bathroom.

Thank you kindly for your understanding and cooperation. We hope to be done with these additional regulations soon. Let’s all work together and keep the second part of this season going!
