On Saturday, May 31st and Sunday, June 1st, the Jubilee Committee has developed an amazing program for you. From laser tag to an obstacle course, and from a pub quiz dinner to a lazy Sunday in the park. And of course, a great party is a must! The theme is GALA! So mark the date in your calendar, grab your best outfit, and get your ticket!

Awesome activities for young and old
On Saturday afternoon, May 31st, we kick off the weekend festivities with exciting activities. You can play teqvolley or have a round of laser tag with your team. The Volleyball Bus will also stop by, featuring an obstacle course, a bouncy castle, and a smash meter. Additionally, the SoviBar will be open, where you can grab a refreshing snack and drink throughout the afternoon. Finally, upon arrival, you will receive your goodie bag with a wristband and tokens for the party, and you can pick up your pre-ordered anniversary items (more details on this later).
Good to know: access to the afternoon activities is free for youth members under 18 years old. They can order a free ticket in the ticket shop. No ticket, no access. Parents of youth members do not need a ticket and are more than welcome to come and watch.
Pub quiz and dinner in 1
An extra fun option you can choose when purchasing your ticket is the pub quiz dinner in Gala style! Between courses, we’ll play the famous and challenging SoviQuiz, where teams compete to test their knowledge and play for the win.
Good to know: the pub quiz dinner is accessible to members and former members aged 16 and older. Alcohol will not be served to 16- and 17-year-olds.
Party time!
From 9:00 PM onwards, it’s time for (quite possibly) the biggest Sovicos party ever! Led by DJ Peachcore & DJ Vinnie in the Club-Café of Rootz (Grote Marktstraat, downtown The Hague), we’ll turn it into an amazing Gala party and dance into the early hours. Together, we’ll count down to midnight, the moment when Sovicos officially turns 75.
Good to know: the party night is accessible to members and former members aged 16 and older. Alcohol will not be served to 16- and 17-year-olds.
Relaxing in the park
On Sunday afternoon, June 1st, it’s time for… absolutely nothing! We had such an amazing evening before that you can just relax and chill in Zuiderpark. With a drink, a snack, and some music, we’ll enjoy the sunshine, and the true diehards can play a game of grass volleyball (just like at Hajraa, but not at 8 AM).
Good to know: everyone is welcome (no ticket needed), bring a snack, drink and picnic blanket and don’t forget your sunglasses and sunblock;-)

For the anniversary, you need a ticket to participate. There are 3 different tickets available. The adult ticket is valid for the activities on Saturday afternoon, the party in the evening, and the activities on Sunday. The youth ticket is valid for the activities on Saturday afternoon. *If you are 16 or 17 years old, you can also join the Saturday evening party with the youth ticket. An optional add-on (and highly recommended) is the pub quiz dinner, which can be booked starting from 16 years old.

Parents, family members, and friends of members and former members are also warmly welcome to come and watch on Saturday afternoon, and enjoy a snack and a drink. Unfortunately, participation in the activities is not possible.
Limited edition Anniversary items
In addition to a ticket for the Anniversary, you can also grab unique Anniversary items in the webshop! Ordered items can be picked up during the Anniversary weekend on Saturday, May 31st, upon arrival or at the SoviBar.
You can choose between a scarf, sunglasses and a mug. Order yours here. But be quick, because the items are limited!
Frequently Asked Questions
If I buy a dinner + pub quiz ticket, do I also need a regular ticket?
If you also plan to participate in the activities on Saturday afternoon and attend the evening party, then you will need both tickets.
Do I need a ticket for Lazy Sunday?
No, on Sunday everyone is welcome to enjoy (hopefully) a sunny day in Zuiderpark. The exact location will be announced later.
What extras do I get with a ticket?
With a regular ticket, you will receive a goodie bag filled with surprise items. Adults will also get two drink tokens for the party. If you have a ticket for the dinner + pub quiz, drinks are included.
What if the weather is bad on May 31st?
No worries! Of course, we hope for a beautiful sunny day, but in the Netherlands, you never know. If the weather turns bad, we will move the Saturday afternoon activities indoors to the sports hall. If Sunday’s weather is also poor, the afternoon activities will be canceled. The dinner + pub quiz and the party at Rootz will go ahead regardless of the weather!
Can I drop off my child on May 31st?
As you can understand, we are not a childcare service, but we will certainly keep an eye on things (hopefully with your help). You can let your child participate in the festive activities with peace of mind, including the fun games from the Volleyball Bus!
