Summer Events Overview
At Sovicos, it’s not just about sports; it’s about creating unforgettable experiences for everyone. And we need you to make it happen! Check out our exciting summer events where we are looking for volunteers:
1. Schools Beach Volleyball Tournament (5th June)
Dream of a day on the sand, surrounded by enthusiastic kids discovering the wonders of beach volleyball? Then our schools’ beach volleyball tournament on 5th June is for you! We need referees, scorers, and match coordinators to make this day a huge success. And the best part? You’ll receive a volunteer allowance of €25!
2. National Outdoor Play Day (19th June)
On 19th June, we celebrate National Outdoor Play Day, and Sovicos is joining in! We will be hosting beach volleyball clinics to introduce local kids to this fantastic sport. Are you excited and want to inspire the youth? Join us and receive €25!
3. TeamNL Sport Experience (3rd July)
Help us on 3rd July from 13:00 to 17:00 during the TeamNL Sport Experience at Steenwijklaan. We are organizing multisport days to introduce The Hague residents to various sports. We need you to ensure everything runs smoothly and to guide the youth in the beach volleyball clinics. This is a chance to be part of something big, alongside youth players from Beach Team Netherlands (BTN) who will be conducting the clinics.
4. Kids Clinic for European Beach Volleyball Championship (14th August)
Are you ready to make an impact on the youth of The Hague? On 14th August, we are hosting a beach volleyball clinic in collaboration with players from Beach Team Netherlands for kids new to beach volleyball. As a volunteer, you’ll help them take their first steps in this wonderful sport! After the clinic, you can watch the beach volleyball matches of the European Championship!
5. Volleyball Clinic at the Neighborhood Camp (17th July)
And as a bonus… Milene is organizing a Sovicos volleyball clinic at the neighborhood camp in Escamp, The Hague. This camp was started to give The Hague families who can’t afford a vacation a camping experience. The whole week is filled with camping, barbecuing, and playing games during the day. Many local kids attend, and Milene needs some help organizing a volleyball clinic. Just a net, a ball, and some people who want to give the kids an unforgettable day. Want to lend Milene a hand?
