I take this opportunity to look back on last season and secretly be quite proud of where we are right now with the beach volleyball part of Sovicos. We are growing and growing and growing, which is very nice to see. The applications keep pouring in.
For that reason, the Beach Committee (BC) recently decided to adjust the divisions so that everyone has room to grow and new members have the opportunity to join the liveliest club in The Hague. But, new teams also means more trainers and we are still a bit short of those. So would you like to train a beach volleyball team? Mail the BC!
It’s something we don’t like to do, of course, since we are all animals of convenience and when we are used to a time and a group we don’t like to see it changed. But I always think – look on the bright side. You get to meet new people again with new stories and techniques. Super fun, right?
Also for the BC it remains a learning process and the further into the season we are the clearer everything becomes.
In case you don’t know it yet but the already 3rd edition of the beach volleyball tournament is around the corner again. The first two editions were already a success so we expect that the third one will only get better. Through the email you have received from us, you have been able to sign up. This time we unfortunately only have three fields and thus little space. If you do not have a spot, please come by to watch, encourage and have a drink afterwards! Will we see you on March 19?
