What a day! On 11 January, the beach volleyball court was once again filled with enthusiastic players for our beach volleyball tournament. And what a success it was! Not only did we see many familiar faces, but also a lot of new players. Many participants brought along a +1, someone who doesn’t usually play beach volleyball. But don’t be fooled—these newcomers were surprisingly skilled, making the competition even more exciting!
King of the Court: Who Stayed on Top the Longest? 👑
For this edition, we played in the King of the Court format. If you’re not familiar with it, the goal is to reach the king’s side and score as many points as possible. Win a rally on the king’s side? You earn a point! Lose the rally as king? You have to leave the court and rejoin the challengers’ queue. This led to fast-paced rotations, thrilling rallies, and plenty of competitive spirit!
Sport, Fun, and… a Drink! 🍻
After the tournament, it was time to relax and chat in the clubhouse. With a drink in hand, players recapped the best rallies and were already looking forward to the next edition.
