Thursday 23 June, the Municipality of The Hague and our own Vincent Lugtenburg worked very hard to put all the poles in the ground. In the weekend all nets and fields were installed and made ready for use. This week they could be used for the first time. The moment for the editors to drop by and take some pictures!

After hard work, all the foundations are in the ground! Next, the fields themselves could be installed. That was also a time consuming job but Vincent Lugtenburg managed it! All praise to him!
And then it is time to try the fields! See below how well that worked 🙂
What’s next?
The transformation of Sovicos Beach is not finished yet! Er loopt momenteel een vergunningstraject voor een nieuwe (grotere en waterdichte) berging en zodra die is goedgekeurd zal het subsidietraject van start gaan. In addition, the current sand will be replaced by “beach volleyball sand” next autumn/winter, sand that is better suited for playing beach volleyball!
