As the volleyball season is about to kick off, the activities committee has something spectacular in store for you: the SovIntro Tournament! Whether you’re a new member at Sovicos looking to meet new people or simply eager for a fun game of volleyball and to reconnect with friends after the summer break, this is the opportunity.
On Saturday, September 2nd, we’ll lace up our sports shoes and step onto the court for an entertaining “Sheep-Goat Tournament.”
What does that mean?
Each match, the teams are shuffled, and no team plays with the same group twice. We draw the cards, and the teams are randomly composed. During breaks, you can recharge in the cafeteria and take the chance to get to know each other better. Meanwhile, Heren 1 will engage in an exciting three-way match on one of the courts, so you can also cheer enthusiastically during your breaks.
The first matches begin at 1:00 PM, so make sure you’re there by 12:30 PM (feel free to arrive earlier π). Around 5:30 PM we will finish and clean up together.
Note that in the morning, regional youth teams will be competing intensively, and we’re looking for helping hands for setup and bar duties. Lunch will be provided for these valued helpers!
