In total, around 70 students participated in a clinic for sitting volleyball during two sessions. In general, despite some fatigue, they were still very enthusiastic and played fanatically, which you can expect from sport-minded students. It was striking that most of them were not at all familiar with this branch of volleyball, but since Tuesday afternoon that is a thing of the past!
The sitting volleyball clinics fitted nicely into the varied programme that the intro committee had put together, which offered familiar as well as less familiar and adapted forms of sport. There were also clinics wheelchair handball and goalball. All in all, it was a fun experience that has ensured that sitting volleyball is now on the radar of the sports professionals of the future!
