Will you be our new Secretary?

It’s time to shine in a crucial role within our board! We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated secretary to strengthen our team for the upcoming season. As a secretary, you are the pivot in the functioning of our association and contribute to the preservation and growth of our beloved community.

What does it entail?

As a secretary, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks:

  • You play a key role in organizing and convening the annual general meeting, which takes place once per season, and ensure smooth proceedings.
  • In collaboration with other board members, you execute the established association policies and ensure compliance.
  • You ensure that our association complies with all legal obligations, including drafting minutes, administrative management, and representing the association externally.
  • Managing the agenda, monitoring deadlines, keeping the Chamber of Commerce registrations up-to-date, and managing association correspondence are also part of your responsibilities.
  • As an information provider within the association, you keep all board members informed of administrative developments.
  • In collaboration with the Membership Administrator, you manage the email address info@sovicos.nl, where potential members can inquire.
  • As if that wasn’t enough, you also oversee the editorial team.

The estimated time commitment for this role is approximately 6 hours per week, with a Board Meeting taking place once every 6 weeks on a Thursday evening (approximately 2.5 hours).
