We build Sovicos together. On the court, on the sidelines, during club activities and when making decisions about our future. That is why we invite all members to join the General Members Meeting (GMM) on Thursday, 24 September. This is your opportunity to join the conversation, share your ideas and, most importantly, make your voice heard.
Why should you be there?
An GMM might not immediately sound like the most exciting evening of the season. But this is where decisions are made that directly affect you as a member.
How much will membership fees be? What are our plans for the upcoming season? Who will join the board and committees? And where do we want Sovicos to be in the years ahead?
We will discuss all of these topics during the GMM. We will look back at last season, discuss the current state of our club and, above all, look ahead. One of the key topics will be our Club Policy 2026+, which will help shape the future direction of Sovicos.
Sovicos belongs to all of us
A club isn’t just its board or committees. Sovicos exists because of all the members who play volleyball, coach, referee, organise activities, volunteer and contribute to our community.
Being a member also means having the opportunity to have a say in what happens within our club. The GMM is the place to do exactly that. Do you have an opinion? A question? A great idea? Or would you simply like to know more about what happens behind the scenes at Sovicos? Then this is an evening you don’t want to miss.
And don’t worry: there will be breaks, snacks and drinks along the way!

Can’t make it? Your vote can still count
If you can’t attend on 24 September, you can authorise another member to vote on your behalf. Each member can cast a maximum of two votes: one for themselves and one on behalf of another member.
Ask a teammate or fellow club member to vote for you and send your authorisation no later than 24 September to secretaris@sovicos.nl, with the person voting on your behalf in cc.
