Sovicos is a vibrant volleyball club located in The Hague, Netherlands. With over 75 years of history, Sovicos offers a welcoming environment for players of all ages and skill levels. The post delves into the club\u2019s organisation, team structure, volunteer roles, and how to join.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The club is managed by a board consisting of six positions: Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Technical Affairs, Youth Affairs, and Club Affairs. Supporting staff includes committees for activities, beach volleyball, youth training, membership, editorial, and more. If you want to join the team all you need is willingness and perhaps sometimes a vacancy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– CMV Levels 1\u20136: For ages 6\u201312, focusing on skill development through Cool Moves Volley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– C-Youth (12\u201314 years), B-Youth (14\u201316 years), A-Youth (16\u201318 years): Standard volleyball format with weekly competitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Open to players aged 18 and above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Teams range from 4th Class to 1st Class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Training sessions are held on Monday (in sportcampus Zuiderpark) and Wednesday (at Sportsvenue Steenwijklaan) nights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Volunteers are the backbone of Sovicos. Roles include trainers, coaches, referees, bar service coordinators, and event organizers. The club values every volunteer and encourages participation in various capacities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Interested individuals can sign up for two free trial training sessions. For youth, contact jeugdtc@sovicos.nl with the child\u2019s name, date of birth, and phone number.
