Spring Has Sprung: A New Season of Collaboration

On March 21, the official start of spring, we not only celebrated the changing seasons with our lively pub quiz but also launched a new initiative: the Food Bank Action. This spring, let’s come together to make a difference for those in need.

What Can You Do?

Every Wednesday and Friday, you can do your part by donating non-perishable items in our crates. These can include meal soups, oatmeal, canned fish, canned or jarred fruits and vegetables, coffee or tea, rice, oil, menstrual products, soap, deodorant, toilet paper, laundry detergent, and other essential supplies. Your donation can make a world of difference for someone in need.

Tips for Contributing Together

  1. Organize a fundraising drive within your team and collect money to purchase items for the Food Bank Action.
  2. Set a goal for your team to donate a certain number of products and hold a contribution competition.
  3. Share the Food Bank Action on social media and encourage others to join in.
  4. Plan a team outing to the supermarket and have each team member select a few items to donate.
  5. Ask family members and friends to donate a product to the cause as well.

A Call to You

Let’s collaborate and pool our efforts to make a positive impact on our community this spring. Please bring your donations to the Steenwijklaan on Wednesdays and/or Fridays and help us make a difference in the lives of others. Your contribution is greatly appreciated and truly makes a difference. Join us in making this spring a season of care and solidarity.
